Yukimura Haruki (雪村春樹, 1948 to 2016) is the progenitor of the caressing rope style.

On the left is the teaching license (menkyoshou, 免許証) for Osada Steve.
If you look closely, you will find “dai ichi go” (第一号, first) following the date on the license, indicating that Osada Steve is the first bakushi receiving such license.

Inverted Suspension Progression

This progression is based on a hishiyama harness (石山ハーネス). It starts off with a bamboo crucifixion (take haritsuke, 竹磔), and Japanese-inspired foot sandals (waraji, 草鞋). After lifting into inverted suspension, the load is transfered to the feet (草鞋吊り), and later to the thighs (futomomo-zuri, 太腿吊り).

Behind the Scenes

Prepping for ganji garame and ishiyama harness.

On top you will find @Matt_Shibari (IG) applying the ganji garame (雁字搦め) to Sayo-chan.

Inverted Suspension

Hanging by the feet upside down offers a new spatial perspective -- not to mention the health benefits of relaxing the spine.

Tying Two @ Once

Nothing beats the pleasure of connecting with two lovely ukete-san simultaneously. The secret is to provide both Aikawa Aiko and Sayo-chan with equal amounts of energy, attention and care.

Nawa Yuugi (縄遊戯)

Nawa yuugi is Yukimura speak for "rope play". One example would be shuuchinawa yuugi (羞恥縄遊戯) where you induce the bashfulness of your rope partner.

First Time

It is always something special to tie with someone for the first time. Watch Osada Steve as he explores Sayo-chan's soft spots facilitating entry to her heart and soul.

Ganji Garame (雁字搦め)

This mummification suspension is based on Sajo-ryu (鎖縄流), a tying style relying heavily on chain-stitching techniques. It is taught and promulgated by Higashi sensei.

The complexity of Sajo-ryu adds a new dimension to the art of Japanese rope bondage. For the time being these techniques are only taught one-on-one at Osada-ryu HQ Studios.
